The Beech 1900 is a proven twin-engine airliner that provides a low cost of operation for its operators. This, coupled with good performance and payload capabilities makes it an ideal aircraft for regional passenger, cargo and corporate shuttle applications. Operated with 19 seats, the Beech 1900 is an extremely comfortable and capable addition to our Mpumalanga Shuttle Service.
The 1900 has a distinguished heritage, and is the result of more than 50 years of Beech design history. Beech established itself directly into scheduled passenger and cargo operations through development of the Beech 99 airliner in the 1960s. The 1900 provided significant growth and expansion into the 19 passenger market as well as in the 2,495 kg cargo market. 1900s are characterized by:
- Outstanding performance, especially in hot environments and/or when short runways are a consideration
- High reliability and low maintenance requirements
- Passenger amenities, cabin pressurization and exceptional baggage capacity
